Benefit of Mild Steel.
Mild steel transfers heat better than stainless steel because it has more of the pure metal composition. Stainless steel has at minimum 10.5% chromium to give its non-corrosive quality. The chromium inside stainless steel directly affects its ability to conduct heat.
Please Note: Mild steel - surface rust may occur when left exposed to the elements or stored in a wet environment. It will not affect the overall performance of the fire pit.
While disassembling the firepit, wipe down with bbq wipes and allowing to dry before storing away. This will help preserve the ‘natural’ steel look.
Care Instructions
• Please do not use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach, or strong abrasive cleaners.
• Allow firepit to cool naturally. Do not use water too force cool as this may cause the steel to warp.
• To keep your firepit looking pristine, wash in hot soapy water after use. Then rinse and hand dry, hand drying is recommended for a spotless clean.
